Yoshitake also has a steam pressure reducing valve that is compatible with the existing other European type of steam pressure reducing valve
The flange to flange dimension is exactly the same as the European type of steam pressure reducing valve
Model GP-1000-EN, EN-1092 PN-16 flange connection, 10 bar inlet pressure, 0.5 to 9 bar reduced pressure, 1/2″ to 4″ size
Model GP-1000-HEN, EN-1092 PN-25 flange connection, 16 bar inlet pressure, 0.5 to 14 bar reduced pressure, 1/2″ to 4″ size
Steam boilers are usually designed to work at high pressures
But the steam heating equipments can only receive a limited steam pressure
So we need to reduce the steam pressure accordingly:
– To match the required lower steam pressure
– The steam pressure is within the safety limit of the heating equipment & accessories
Reduce the higher pressure steam into a lower pressure steam will make the lower pressure steam more dry
So the heat transfer will be more efficient
