The American-BFV® disc is ductile iron in all sizes.
The added strength allows the disc design to have a smaller cross section providing improved headloss characteristics.
The American- BFV® will withstand flow rates and pressure transients beyond the maximum AWWA pressure rating and are AWWA proof of design tested.
