The mechanical condensate pump trap is used to
prevent stall in the steam heating system
Stall can happen at the steam heating system that has a modulating steam control valve installed at the upstream of the system
When the modulating control valve only open a bit
And when the condensate backpressure is higher than the steam pressure
The steam trap will be closed and condensate will be backed up at the uspstream of the steam trap
Mechanical pumping pumping trap will solve this problem & it will convey the condensate out of the steam heating system easily
